Jacob and Arthur playing in the snow

24th Nov 2014

A rare day of for me today, Kath and myself are off to the ESS Club Open Stakes Field Trial, to say I'm excited is an understatement. What a fab day we had, everybody made us so welcome, they put up with my constant questions, and really made us feel at home. the dogs were amazing to watch, the bond between handler and dog, just awesome. A huge thank you to Roy for inviting us, to the judges for letting us follow them and "get up close" to the actual tests. Just amazing, so back home totally exhausted but determined.

23rd Nov 2014 - Arthur wins RBIS !!!!

Today is our Club Open Show, (The ESS Club Open Show), as I'm the membership secretary and the assistant secretary, needed to be there pretty early, so of we went, not a great entry number wise, but a good quality entry. Ralph and Arthur entered, Ralph won PG Dog, and was 4th in the Special Post Grad Class, Arthuthe star of the day won Open Dog, was awarded Best Dog and then went on th get RBIS !!!! not stopping there he then went and won the Special Open Class. How proud of my boys am I. A huge thank you to our judge Mr Geoff Cunliffe (FallenLeaf) for thinking so highly of my boys and also for the fabulous gift for RBIS. Home now, feet up, and a rest.

9th Nov 2014

Well what can I say about today, a brilliant experience, today we are of to the JW Semi-finals at Earls Court, what a privilage to be representing our Breed. It was a fab day, and although we didnt get through to the finals, Ralph was a star. The big guys spent the day on Discover dogs, being cuddled and fussed over. I must admit didnt enjoy driving through London, but a day to remember. We got home after a long day, but totally chuffed to bits with the boys as usual.

Just Ralph entered, and he won Open. He then went BOB. What a star. Not stopping there he then went on the get Group 1!!! fab, result. thank you to Paul Carpenter for your lovely comments about Ralph. But then it got better, under BIS Judge Steve Cox (Shotaan), Ralph was then awarded RBIS !!!! how chuffed am I, brilliant end to the day, so proud of the Ralphster.
