Ok, Arthur, Jacob and I are off to National Gundog Association Champ Show, left at 5am, as that's what the satnav said!!!! got there at 7am!!!, well better to be early I suppose.........
Our judge for today is Breed Specialist Ms Fran Glendinning, Arthur is in Limit Dog and Good Citizen Dog, and was placed 5th in limit in a really strong class and 1st in the good citizen class (not sure if he is a good citizen!!!!), had a lovely day catching up with friends, the journey home took a bit longer than expected, traffic!!!!! thankyou to everyone who commented on Arthur,
Today, Ann, Arthur, Jacob and I set off to The Welsh Kennel Club Champ Show, we decided not to listen to the Sat nav (BIG MISTAKE), but after adding an hour and a half to our journey we arrived. Our judge today was breed specialist Mr Graham Osbourne, Arthur as always did me proud, but unfortunatly was unplaced in a very strong limit class. Must try harder next time. Ann and I had fun doing some shopping and we got a ride in a buggy upto the shopping area!!!! the journey home was less stressful, now the task of unloading the car!!!!
Well can you believe it!!!! Arthur is 3 years old today, and what a way to spend his day, getting bathed and groomed ready for tomorrow, how time flies (when you are having fun!!!).
Today Ann, Jacob, Arthur and I are off to The City of Birmingham Champ show, our judge for today is Mr John Thirwell, firstly Jane (Arthur and Jacob's Breeder) asked me to handle one of her puppies Meadowdale Chaos in the puppy dog class, we were placed third!!!! then Arthur went into limit dog, unfortunatly he was unplaced but it was a very strong class with some super dogs, we were also entered into the Good Citizen Dog class and Arthur was placed second, we had a lovely day, and arrived home nice and early, for a relaxing afternoon.
Well we left the house at 4am, and set of to Richmond Champ Show, down in Guildford, yes I am Mad!!!! our judge today is breed specialist Mrs Judith Hancock (Hawkhill), first up was Chaos who Jane asked me to handle for her, to my delight he was placed first out of a lovely puppy dog class. Arthur wasnt placed today, but I had some lovely comments about him, which I always find encouraging, thank you. Then off home arriving at 6.30pm, a long day,
Well what can I say about today!!! I've cried, smiled, grinned and just can't believe it, "Arthur" was awarded his first "RDCC"!!!!! At Darlington Champ Show. After a shaky start to the day, by being caught up in traffic on the M62, I thought I was never going to get there, thanks to Sue for helping me get my stuff in, our judge for today was Breed Specialist Mr Colin Woodward (Wadeson), Arthur was entered in to Limit Dog, and to my surprise and delight was placed first. We then went back in for the challenge, and can you believe it "Arthur" was awarded the "RDCC"!!!!!! WOW I don't think I will ever get over today. A huge thank you to Mr Colin Woodward for making my dream come true, also thanks to everyone for your lovely wishes and comments, I cried most of the way home, and am still crying as I update this!! (Yep I am soppy, mad, thrilled to bits). But most of all the proudest owner in the world!!!!!
Another huge thank you must go to Jane and Steve Eyeington for letting me have Arthur!!!!!!!
Today, Arthur, Jacob and I head off to Driffield Champ Show, The weather is glorious, no Ann today she is working!!!! Our judge for today is Breed Specialist Mrs Edith Rose (Roseannoch), Arthur is entered into Limit Dog and the KCGCDS, wow Arthur was placed second in limit (a big class with some really nice dogs) and first in KCGCDS, Thank you to the judge for her lovely comments.
We had a great day, great company and lovely weather, what a way to spend a Friday!!!! Tomorrow hopefully a lazy day for us!!!!

This morning we are off to the "Northern English Springer Spaniel Society" open show at Ripon Racecourse, our judge today is Mr David Craig (Davricard), the weather was abit cooler which does help, and we managed to show outside. Arthur was in Limit Dog and The Open Stakes, Arthur was placed second in both classes behind two lovely dogs who do very well in the ring,
Lovely company, great food and a relaxed atmosphere, who could ask for more!!!!!
Today Jacob, Arthur and I are off to outh Wales KA Champ Show held at Builth Wells, a long drive as my sat nav insists on taking me the "A" roads. Our judge for today is Breed Specialist Mrs Joan Palmer (Roandew), only four in Limit Dog today and Arthur was placed fourth behind three lovely dogs, couldnt complain, Arthur was also entered into "The Pets as Therapy Stakes" our judge there was Meriel Hathaway, we were placed third, thank you to the judge for her lovely comments about Arthur, I was really flattered. Don't know about you but the journey home always seems shorter . . . . . . . . . . .
Today is a bit diffrent, we are off to TWO shows at the same venue, First is the Gundog Society of Wales Champ Show, our judge today is Mr C. MacKay, Arthur is in a strong Limit class, unfortunatly he is unplaced, then after the judging is completed it is The English Springer Spaniel Club of Wales Open Show, our judge there is Breed Specialist Mrs Angela Chandler (Calvdale). Again Arthur is in Limit and is placed third behind two very nice dogs who are doing very well in the ring at the present, then the trek home, had a lovely day, great company, lovely weather, what a way to spend a wednesday,
Hooray Ann is with us today, and we are off to Scotland to The English Springer Spaniel Club of Scotland Open Show. Our judge today is Breed Specialist Mrs Celia Woodbridge (Crackerjanne), Arthur is in Limit. WOW what a surprise he is placed first, we then had to go in for the challenge and can you believe it Arthur is awarded "RESERVE BEST DOG". What a great day!!!! We always enjoy going up to Scotland, again great company ,a lovely atmosphere and nice weather, arrived home as always so proud of Arthur, he didnt put a paw wrong, thankyou to everyone for your lovely comments, i really do appreciate them, and yes I do have to wipe the odd tear away!!!!
Today, Arthur, Jacob and I are off to North Western Counties Spaniel Club Open Show, hooray a late start, had a lovely meal out last night with Ann who was celebrating her 50th Birthday!!!!!
Our Judge today is Johnathan Daltrey (Bananadance), We are in Open, a lovely entry of 10 dogs, Arthur was placed a very respectable 5th, thankyou to the judge, we also entered the open stakes and we were placed 1st!!! a lovely day, with great company, yummy food and lovely weather, off home to rest!!!!!!!

Today we are off to Yorkshire Gundog Club Open Show, our judge today is Breed Specialist Mrs J Weyman (Spuffing), a good turn out for Springers, Arthur was placed first in open and then went on to get BOB!!! thank you to the judge for her lovely comments about Arthur, we waited for BIS, and again I was extremely pleased to be shortlisted for BIS!!!, what a great day, and as always I am the proudest owner,
